Does Dabble use AI?
No. Dabble has no generative AI as of November 6, 2026. Its pricing FAQ says any future AI features will be strictly opt-in, and that it will not use your writing to train AI models.
Can I use Feldar without the AI?
Yes. Writing, the scene outline, the Canvas and the Library work without AI and never use credits. AI acts only when you ask, and its text stays only if you accept it.
How much does Dabble cost?
Writer is $15 a month billed yearly ($180) or $19 monthly. Author is $276 a year, Bestseller $468. Lifetime Author is $699 once. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, no card.
Is Dabble worth the price?
If you want offline writing, track changes, co-authoring or beta readers, Dabble's Author plan covers things Feldar doesn't. If you mainly plan and draft alone with AI help, Feldar's free or Core plan may suit you better.
Does Dabble work offline?
Yes. Dabble saves to your device first and syncs when you reconnect. Feldar needs a connection.
Do Dabble or Feldar train AI on my writing?
Both say no.
