Canvas now understands natural-language requests. Ask Feldar to create a card, revise an existing one, or turn an idea from your conversation into a character, location, item, faction, or note.

Relationships can be created the same way, so characters, places, scenes, and story ideas can be connected without breaking your flow. We also refreshed the Canvas cards and controls to make larger story worlds easier to read and navigate.

A library built around your projects

Every project now has a cover, giving your Library a clearer visual structure. Pinned projects are more recognizable, while the Continue writing view is cleaner and easier to scan.

Covers give each project its own identity at a glance, whether you are returning to recent work or keeping several projects in progress.

Import and export manuscripts

Choose New project → Import from the Library to bring in one or several Word, PDF, Markdown, or plain-text files. A Library import creates a project for each file; importing from an open project appends the new pages to that manuscript.

Feldar detects headings, page breaks, and manuscript sections to build titled editor pages automatically. PDF sheets are reconstructed into readable manuscript sections instead of becoming one Feldar page each, files can be removed before an import starts, and processing continues safely in the background.

Export an entire manuscript, the current page, or selected pages to Word, PDF, Markdown, or plain text. Feldar saves your latest work before creating the file, preserves project order, gives Word and PDF a clean manuscript layout, and keeps completed exports available for 24 hours.

A stronger writing harness

The writing harness now keeps recent conversations intact while condensing older discussion without losing important decisions. Suggestions also pay closer attention to your sentence structure, punctuation, and writing rhythm.

Generated suggestions are checked for repetitive, generic, or overly polished language before you see them. These checks apply only to Feldar’s suggestions—never to your original writing—and any remaining concern is shown with a clear note instead of being silently changed.

Optional web research can include links to its sources, and long documents and conversations now require less unnecessary processing, helping the harness stay focused as a project grows. Web results are treated as reference material, never as instructions.
